A room full of people doing seated tai chi.
Please join us in welcoming our new Tai Chi Instructor, Master Fung. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. The residents enjoy these classes twice a week. The benefits of Tai Chi is that it increases flexibility and leads the body through wide ranges of motion. it also improves and maintains balance. The technique promotes better body control, improves muscle strength and helps with chronic conditions such as cancer, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We are delighted to offer engaging classes like this here at Fremont Hills. Happy & Healthy residents make for a community that thrives.
