Utah boosters call their state “One Giant Playground,” and they’ve got it right. It’s almost unfair that a single state has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world – like the miraculous natural structures at Arches National Park and the hoodoos at Bryce Canyon – as well as hundreds of inches of powdery snow for skiing and snowboarding. But it’s not just natural beauty that draws people to Utah.
The dynamic Salt Lake City area boasts the Utah Jazz, Ballet West, and the LDS Temple Square as just a few of the many attractions. The Sundance Film Festival is on every cinephile’s bucket list. While Utah has been inhabited for thousands of years by indigenous groups, today over half of all Utahns are members of the LDS Church, which has its world headquarters in Salt Lake City.
There are two Watermark communities in Utah: one in North Ogden and one in Salt Lake City.
