Paul Boethel

Paul has spent the majority of his career in senior housing investments and operations. Before joining Watermark, he served as chief investment officer for Keppel’s (SGX:BN4) health care platform, responsible for the investment in Watermark as well as senior housing properties across the U.S. and Asia. Prior to Keppel, he served as CIO at Eclipse Senior Living (110+ properties) where his responsibilities included investments, asset management, FP&A, capex, and procurement. As the senior vice president at HCP (now HealthPeak), he was responsible for all asset management for senior housing, overseeing over 350 properties across more than 20 different operators. He also held roles as vice president of acquisitions for Fortress Investment Group (NYSE:FIG) and executive vice president of investments and finance at Holiday Retirement (300+ properties).

Paul earned his undergraduate degree from United States Military Academy (West Point) and an MBA from Loyola Marymount.
