Sheila Donahoe
Chief Administrative Officer
Sheila brings deep experience, both outside and inside the senior living industry, in developing business and technology strategies to meet company objectives and fuel growth. Outside our industry, she led technology strategy and implementation in her role as chief information officer in media and hospitality companies, defining and delivering technology strategies and platforms for companies such as Bluegreen, Martha Stewart Living, and Alamo and National Car Rental.
Fifteen years ago, her first leap into senior living sent Sheila from Florida to Oregon, where she was chief information officer at Holiday Retirement, evolving the company from a low-tech environment to a leading-edge automated systems platform, growing revenue and driving occupancy across more than 300 senior living communities. Sheila also served in the role of chief administrative officer at Eclipse Senior Living, providing direct leadership for information technology, marketing and communications, human resources, accounting, and program management. At Eclipse, she was responsible for creating a support center organization, policies and procedures, and systems platform for the brand-new management company in a very compressed time schedule.
Most recently, Sheila has provided consulting services to companies, developing road maps for scalable and integrated business and technology solutions. She has specific expertise within the areas of senior housing, hospitality, revenue management, marketing, business intelligence, and online solutions, all of which are directly relevant to developing an integrated strategy to deliver true competitive advantage.
Earlier in her career, she was twice voted South Florida’s best CIO, as well as being named one of the 100 Most Innovative CIOs by CIO magazine. Sheila’s background and experience enable her to bring creative ideas, fresh perspective, proven best practices, and technology thought leadership to the Watermark team.
