A Day in Their Shoes

At Lakeside Park, we’ve partnered with nurses from Suncrest Hospice to have a virtual dementia tour and training to help our associates better understand the physical and mental challenges of dementia. When our associates have an opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of individuals living with dementia, it leads to greater understanding, care, and communication for our residents.
