Solar Power in Action
Our state-of-the-art solar panel system, strategically installed over the parking area, is a testament to our commitment to renewable energy. Although our solar array only began operation in September 2024, it has already generated 147,186 kWh of clean energy. This remarkable achievement has helped us avoid 74.2 metric tons of harmful greenhouse gases (CO₂ equivalent). To put that into perspective, this is the equivalent of:
- 17 cars driven for an entire year,
- 82,460 pounds of coal burned,
- The annual electricity use of 26 homes, and
- The gas sequestered by 75 acres of U.S. forest.
We expect our solar panel system to generate 659,719 kWh in a year, reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner, greener community.
Smart Building, Smart Future
Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond solar energy. Our building is designed with smart technology to enhance energy efficiency every day:
- Energy-efficient lighting. Our lighting system adjusts automatically, ensuring we conserve energy when spaces are unoccupied.
- Touchless access. Members enjoy convenience and reduced energy usage with five doors featuring waving-hand technology.
By lessening our reliance on excessive lighting and incorporating intuitive building automation, we're making every effort to reduce our overall energy consumption.
