An associate from Sonrisa Senior Living was recently featured in an article published by the Sacramento Bee for his love of cooking — and how it led him to star on a hit television show.
Executive Chef Anthony Vo is competing against 17 other contestants on Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen, hosted by acclaimed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Calling the competition a “culinary bootcamp,” Chef Vo was determined to show how it’s possible to create flavorful and nutritious meals for seniors.
“I’m really here to change that stigma, that we can’t cook on a line or we can’t do fine dining,” he explained. “I just knew I was going to be one of the more resilient competitors.”
