"The Watermark at Almaden is an amazing retirement community with an incredible amount of amenities. I love the concept of providing a place where families can come and STAY and visit with their family members, as opposed to always feeling like they have to pick mom and dad up and bring them to their home. They can enjoy a meal together (without having to prep or clean up!) swim in the pool, play a round of golf with the Golf Simulator, play a round or two of billiards...the list of amenities goes on and on! The people who work at Watermark are extremely friendly, and many go the extra mile to make sure mom and dad are happy in their home!"

I've spent literally years looking at facilities around the Bay Area for my parents, and this one stands out as exceptional. But facilities are only one aspect, as a place is only as good as the people - and that's where the Watermark clearly sets the bar.I dropped by at random, and Patti went out of her way to help give me a quick tour, which is exactly what I needed. I've seen many places, so I didn't want a full pitch. I was so impressed, I made a special effort to bring my parents for a look. Ally walked us around, and she is just a precious jewel of a person! My mom was nervous about moving, and it was Ally's bright and cheery personality that calmed all those fears. I can't be more grateful for Ally's help!Andy was quick and highly responsive to prepare a terrific welcoming package for us that made all the details clear, and we're looking forward to a great experience. Nursing, PT, food service, maintenance, everything feels top notch. The staff makes it all work."
"I love living at the Watermark at Almaden. It offers elegant living, in a friendly, informal atmosphere. The decor reflects high standards of design, beginning with a bright and comfortable lobby, complete with a bistro offering coffee and appealing snacks. Each floor offers specialty rooms to enhance daily living, including a gym with royal blue carpeting, a movie theater with comfortable chairs and a popcorn machine, card rooms with elegant tables, sitting rooms with cozy fireplaces, a library, and a golf simulator. But it’s the people who light up the place with their caring attitude. The whole staff knows my name and friendly conversations go on all day. The waiters know what I like to eat and remember that I hate orange marmalade. The staff sets the tone for the residents. People here are open and friendly. I can sit down at any dining table and feel welcome. It’s easy to strike up a conversation. And the socialization goes on way past dessert, which is always outstanding. In short, I feel so lucky to be living here."
"My first impression of this community is WOW! I attended an event last Tuesday with other healthcare professionals and I can't say enough about the team and all the amenities this community offers. We were welcomed by Andy, Patti, Ronn and other team members to a wonderful food spread, wine and a tour that showcased the community. The tour included the full spa, pool, gym, apartments, art room, movie theater, garden etc. A beautiful community. I appreciated the fact they encourage family members to also enjoy the amenities when they visit."
