An associate from The Watermark at San Jose was recently featured in an article published by The Campbell Press for his love of cooking — and who inspires him to elevate the concept of dining for seniors.
Chef Tony Crane lost his grandmother to Alzheimer’s prior to joining the community. Motivated by his love for her, Chef Tony keeps a picture of her in the kitchen, reminding him that every meal brings care, comfort, and connection.
“I have a sign that hangs in the kitchen and says, ‘In this kitchen, the food is made with love,’” he said. “And as long as we're putting that in, people realize it.”
