"I began thinking about moving to an Assisted Living facility over five years ago and even went so far as to tour several facilities with my daughters. I actually found several that I liked but, as fate would have it, Covid hit and it didn’t seem like a good time. As awful as the disease was (is), it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. As I think back, I really wasn’t ready for Assisted Living at that time. This time there is no doubt in my mind. Once I saw Watermark San Jose and all it has to offer my mind was clear and I knew this is where I belong. I have toured Watermark Almaden four times while I wait for our facility to be ready and each time I feel without a doubt I am making the right move. I have tried to think about what sets it apart from other Assisted Living facilities and it really doesn’t take much thought. I immediately felt the open spaciousness, the well illuminated lighting, the quiet yet welcoming warmth of the surroundings. Outdoors the grounds are well kept and safe and encourage get togethers with outdoor barbecues, comfortable seating and eating areas. There is even a small dog park for your furry family member. Watermark San Jose has so much to offer and, best of all, I feel safe here!"
"We started our search for assisted living for my dad over the summer. After countless conversations with other communities of which none seemed right for my dad we came across Watermark and wow! I'm so glad we did. This definitely is not your typical assisted living facility. We made an appointment and came in to meet with Michelle and Andrea. Right off the bat I felt like I knew them. So friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and we literally signed up that day. The day is coming soon for my dad to move in and I am so excited for him. This place is so nice I want to live there. If you're in the market please consider Watermark. I know that my dad will be well cared for here. The amenities they have are amazing. Everything from the apartments to the workout room to the art studio and the hairdresser . I can't wait to come and visit my dad and have a meal in the restaurant."
