Since joining The Fountains at Greenbriar in 2019, Executive Director Terri Bowlin has brought an abundance of warmth and creativity to her passion for helping people thrive. “My favorite part of what I do,” she said, “is to continue to grow and learn myself, and to see the residents develop new relationships and the associates grow in their role. I love that I can be a small part of that.”
Terri has a talent for creating fun and meaningful experiences. On “Mystery Outings,” residents receive clues about the destination, but don’t know where they’re going until they’ve already arrived. The last Thursday of each month, everyone goes out to a local karaoke bar to bravely sing the night away. And when it comes to the yearly trip to Branson, MO, “The residents have gone zip lining, rode the big Ferris wheel, taken tours of the Branson hills in go-karts … They are always up for anything.”
When she’s not shaking things up at The Fountains at Greenbriar, Terri can be found coaching for the Special Olympics, getting into a new crafting project, or spending time with her mini dachshund, Georgie Sue.
It’s thanks to amazing people like Terri that our community continues to be a place where everyone thrives.
