Celebrating Our Veterans

Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served our country. Here at Blue Bell Place, we are so honored to be in the presence of these heroes on a daily basis. This Veterans Day, we celebrated the triumphs and lives of our veterans with a pinning ceremony. Blue Bell Place and VNA Hospice came together to create an extraordinary experience for our residents. The ceremony consisted of poetry, stories, songs and a pinning ceremony. Each veteran had a moment of fame by showing individually made One Day videos on the TV that encapsulated each residents story and experience. After the ceremony, we continued the celebration at Mission BBQ, a veteran run barbecue restaurant filled with military and USA decorations.
