SilverSneakers

SilverSneakers is a nationwide wellness and fitness program offered free to seniors 65 and older who have eligible Medicare plans. Seniors can access both online and in-person classes, designed for multiple fitness levels. Instructors can make modifications to courses wherever possible to accommodate physical limitations, and most locations are wheelchair accessible.

Dallas Area Parkinson Society

The Dallas Area Parkinson Society (DAPS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1978. It’s dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Parkinson’s disease. They offer a variety of programs, including free exercise groups, care partner support groups, speech therapy, and informational and motivational meetings. Some events are in-person while others take place virtually.
