A resident from The Preston of the Park Cities was recently featured in an article published by People Newspapers on his passion for flying — and how it helps him to maintain an active lifestyle in his 80s.
Retired pilot Bill Cole, who served in Vietnam, France, and Spain, enjoys visiting the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas and loves connecting with other visitors and volunteers. In fact, Bill makes a point to check out a particular 737 plane that he once flew.
“All my years flying and roaming around, I’m not used to sitting around the house all day,” he said.
