A resident from The Preston of the Park Cities was recently featured in an article published by People Newspapers for the special way her granddaughter depicted her life inside the senior living community.
College student Jesse Heller visited Roylenne Huff at The Preston and videotaped her grandmother throughout a typical day in her life, from eating with friends to playing her favorite card games. Through her video documentary, Jesse hopes that grandchildren take the time to learn more from their grandparents.
“I learned that it’s so worth it to just have time to sit down with your loved ones and hear about their lives and experiences,” she explained. “I loved all the little stories she told me throughout filming and am glad I was able to get to know her better.”
