Watermark Retirement Communities is proud to announce that 25 communities have been recognized as SAGECare Platinum Credentialed Providers. Watermark's Resource Center — dedicated associates across the country who provide direct support to communities — also received the SAGECare Platinum Credential for the fifth year in a row. This prestigious recognition demonstrates our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by providing exceptional care and support to seniors in the LGBTQ+ community.
The SAGECare Platinum certification is the highest level of recognition from SAGE, indicating that more than 80% of dedicated associates and community leadership have completed the requirements for this esteemed aging cultural competency training program. This specialized training is designed to help better support and serve LGBTQ+ seniors, their loved ones, associates, and guests.
