Share your skills, your time, and your heart.
Helping others is a rewarding experience, benefiting both the giver and the receiver — you know that; that’s why you’re here! If you’re eager to make a difference in the lives of young leaders by becoming a coach, or nominating a deserving child for the Watermark for Kids program, you’ve come to the right place.
As a coach, you’ll play an integral role in guiding and nurturing the growth of a future trailblazer. Your time, skills, and dedication can make a world of difference as you help a young mind discover their full potential. Or, if you know a child who would benefit from our support, nominate them for our Watermark for Kids program. Take the first step in empowering their dreams and shaping a brighter future.
Together, let’s support our children’s future and witness the transformative power of kindness, encouragement, and compassion in action.
Advocate for kids.
Our dedicated coaches are Watermark Associates or residents passionate about helping kids receive a grant. They can either identify potential grant candidates or be assigned by the community as applications come in.
Key responsibilities of a coach include:
- Assisting with the application submission process.
- Maintaining communication with applicants and their families and connecting with the Watermark for Kids Executive Director.
- Ensuring a positive learning experience throughout the funded project.
- Collecting photos and/or video of the project.
- Following up with recipients upon project completion, obtaining a gratitude video or letter if possible, or inviting them to visit their community to share their experience.
- Upholding the vision and integrity of Watermark for Kids.
By taking on these crucial roles, our coaches play a significant role in helping empower young minds to reach their full potential.
