Despite facing early adversity, including losing her father before she was born, enduring financial struggles, and living with her great-grandmother, India is a shining example of youthful aspiration. India was a straight-A fourth grader with her sights set high. At only 10 years old, India had already envisioned a path leading to Harvard Law School and a seat as a Supreme Court Judge. Receiving a $1,645 scholarship from Watermark for Kids, she was able to attend the National Young Scholars Program at Northern Illinois University.
