Scarlet, 2024

Since the age of three, dance has been more than just an activity for 9-year-old Scarlet — it’s become an integral part of her identity. With Watermark for Kids' help, Scarlet is able to continue her passion as a dancer and participate in competitive dance. As her mother, a full-time working single mom, explains, “Dancing with feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.” For Scarlet, dancing is everything, and this award has allowed her to continue pursuing her dreams despite financial challenges.
