Chef Vo’s culinary journey began when he was just 16 in the San Juan High School culinary program in Citrus Heights. His first challenge was preparing Thanksgiving dinner for his grandparents. Chef Vo’s passion for cooking was deeply influenced by his grandmother, a hospital chef, who instilled in him a love for the culinary arts. As he later cared for her during her battle with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, his dedication to senior living and cooking deepened. He demonstrates his commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for residents every day.
Beyond “Hell’s Kitchen”, Chef Vo’s accolades continue to grow. He has demonstrated heart-healthy recipes on FOX40, and his inspiring story has been featured in the Sacramento Business Journal and the Sacramento Bee.
Chef Vo’s passion and expertise are making waves, proving once again that at Watermark, we set a new standard for culinary excellence in senior living.
