Colby began her career with Watermark at age 24 as the Community Life Director at Blue Bell Place. Passionate about enriching the lives of residents in her community, she reflects on the memories shared with them over the past six years – from trips to the beach and leading music therapy groups to forging new friendships and celebrating important milestones. "I have been through so many life events while working here, and it has been such a rewarding experience to share my journey with the residents. They have been with me through my engagement, my wedding, and now sharing my pregnancy with them. They love asking about the baby and rubbing my belly."

Since becoming the Sales Director in 2020, she's found joy in welcoming new residents to the community and introducing them to the people she truly considers some of her best friends, "I have grown as a woman, a professional, and now a mom with the residents' love and support by my side. Sharing my days and life journey with them is one of my greatest joys. I think I can speak for everyone who works here that the residents and our relationships with them is what makes this community a home and an extraordinary place to work and live."
