Tying the Knot: Love blossomed at The Watermark at Continental Ranch

Destiny wove a beautiful love story at The Watermark at Continental Ranch, where two residents recently tied the knot! It all began one morning in the dining room, where Beverly was enjoying breakfast with three of her friends. Amidst laughter and stories, Fred entered the scene, kindly pulling out a chair for one of the ladies – his chivalry and helpful nature quickly captured Beverly's heart.
Their connection blossomed, and soon the pair’s chemistry became undeniable to all who knew them. Community Life Director Ann Ruffino recalled the day she observed them holding hands and congratulated the happy couple, love radiating from their smiles. Time passed until one day Fred's words changed their lives forever: "Why don't we get married?”
The Watermark’s associates were delighted to help celebrate this remarkable milestone and began thoughtfully planning for their special day. With Ann as their wedding coordinator and singer, the scene was set – the community’s foyer transformed into a haven of love, with residents, families, and friends filling every inch.
The joyful melodies of a local pianist, intertwined with Ann’s harmonious vocals, created a live rendition of "I'm in the Mood for Love" as Beverly and Fred walked down the aisle, surrounded by the people whose lives they have touched. Pastor Dale Moe from Light the Way Lutheran Church, located right down the road, officiated their vows during the beautiful ceremony. The love-filled day was a true embrace of community, warmth, and togetherness —a feeling that has grown stronger with each passing day.
Beverly and Fred continue to enjoy their meals with the three other women at the table where they first met – the "Happy Table," they affectionately call it. Their inspiring story serves as a reminder that love has the power to flourish at any age!
“We still enjoy sitting at the table with the five of us to this day, and the three other ladies at our table seem to be the happiest we are married. We are called the Happy Table.”
